John Schreck
Stand-up comedian based in Atlanta
Some remember John Schreck for his dry, sardonic point of view. Others barely remember him at all. On stage he strikes a balance between cynical and silly, pairing a dark sensibility with an accessible charm that’s won over audiences across the country. His story is a tale as old as time itself – a privileged soy boy just trying to get by with a perfect dog, a supportive partner, and a healthy dose of Catholic survivor’s guilt.

- Other notable festival appearances include: Cincy Brew HaHa (Main Stage), Gilda’s Laugh Fest, Middle Ground Comedy Festival, Yuck Fest, Whiskey Bear Comedy Festival, Backhand Comedy Festival, Crosstown Comedy Fest, and Accidental Comedy Festival.
- Producer of comedy variety show Thursday Night Buzz which was named among Interrobang’s Best Comedy Nights In America and was a festival favorite at Middle Ground Comedy Festival (2023) and Yuck Fest (2019).
- Worked across the Midwest, opening for comics including Tim Dillon, Annie Lederman, Sam Tallent, Amy Schumer, Nate Craig, Tommy Johnagin, Caleb Synan, and Trevor Moore among others.
